So the world is, well maybe not ending exactly, but it’s sort of like a confused teenager. Who am I and what direction am I going in? The most popular kid leading the tribe is a troublemaker and no one could stop them. Yet secretly you wish you could. You know, say something, not be a follower.
I used to wake up at 4:00 AM to write, have coffee, inhale the world when everyone else was alseep. Then came those “what’s the use?” thoughts, I mean look around, Esther, who are you kidding. Everything is falling apart, collapsing, it’s the end times, stock up on food and water and watch it go down.
The problem with that is — human nature. We are designed to want to live, achieve, desire, have goals, experience new things, be the best at something, feel proud of ourselves. The tiger doesn’t seem to care what’s going on, he climbs to the top of the mountain and holds his head up high and shows off his glorious coat and roars. Maybe we’re not that different. Regardless of what’s going on, we want to climb our own mountains and roar, show off, be beautiful, brilliant, alive and use our full potential, our loudest roar, wear our shiniest coats.
I’m back in the 4:00 AM game where I set my alarm and wake up to the dark morning, get up in a silent world, and roar.
I’m not going down quietly.
Find your roar. Contact me, let’s do this.
